The Final Fantasy XIV patch 5.45 brings the next step in the Gunnhildr Relic Weapon Blade quest, and if you can't follow the "Save the Queen" narrative arc in Bozjan Southern Front, you'll have some uncertainty about your future. That's right; despite the possibility of collecting the materials from the previous step of our relic weapon outside of Bozjan Southern Front, this new step added in 5.45 forces you to complete the quest "Lady of the Blade" in Final Fantasy XIV. Yes, you must be ranked 10th on the southern front of Bozjan and have eliminated Castrum Lacus Litore, but don't worry! Things have finally calmed down.

You'll have to rework one of Final Fantasy XIV's most boring "raids" before you can recreate "Memories" for Gerolt and create brilliant new "Relic Weapons". You won't get Metle in Casrum Lacus Litore, but you will certainly lose it. After completing Lady of Blades, you can complete your first mission in the "Save the Queen" narrative arc in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.45 under the Full Mission Marker for the First Mission. Complete this quest, then complete the next quest "Queen's Armor" (which requires you to complete the new "Raid", Delubrum Reginae) to unlock the next stage of the Gunnhildr Relic Weapon Blade quest. Talk to Gerolt to get "In the Queen's Image", and then you'll begin the follow-up mission "Change of Arms", which requires you to store "Memories" again.

The first phase of the Gunnishild Relic Weapon Chain of Upgrade 5.45 will require 15 coveted dying memories, which can be obtained at random during key engagements in Bozea (with a low drop rate) or by completing a crystal tower for an alliance raid in the realm of rebirth (one memory will be obtained by completion). For the future, it is important to remember this: FATES does not have a 100% drop rate in 5.45; raids are available (and will include Delubrum Reginae later). One last PSA: you can play any course of your choice while crushing memory, so use this "Relic Weapons" quest string to adjust your alt class.

After that, you'll move on to the "Remember the Resistance" mission and have to plant 18 hauntingly dying memories. These have nothing to do with Bozja, but there are always two ways to make money. You can either crush the fate of Gyr Abania, or finish the Mhach raid in Heavensward (as in the previous phase, you can only get one memory per raid). Oh, but there is another set of memories to complete this quest: 18 memories of dying boredom. These can be completed by cultivating Osad's FACT, and can also be obtained by completing Stormblood's Ivalice raid (section 2; identical to section 1). Good news for the second stage: the following relics will not be needed anymore!

Once you've acquired all these memories, completed the quest "A Man's Relic" from Delubrum Reginae for the second time and wiped the blood from your eyes, you'll move on to the final quest weapon in Final Fantasy Patch 5.45 Gunnhildr Relic's Sword Blade Search Chain: "A New Path of Resistance". One doesn't need memory, but requires 15 worn artefacts. The kicker is: you must cultivate the new "raid" Delubrum Reginae added to Bozja from patch 5.45 (think of Castrum Lacus Litore, but new), or the Palace of the Dead (erase 100 floors, or randomly from the ground) (51-100). Luckily, you can talk to Sjeros of Gangos to turn Matchmake into Delubrum Reginae, so organizing parties to crush your relic weapons will be easy.
