Quickbooks error H202 appears due to a terminating server connection, which is a multi-user mode error. The H202 error indicates that the company file is stored on an external device that the user's computer cannot access. It shows that the server requires assistance to connect. A user also cannot access or open files on other computers.
Sometimes, this error occurs, mainly due to connectivity issues. Quickbooks cannot establish a connection with the original file destination and is unable to open the file. Multiple file uses aren't possible in this case due to security reasons.
QuickBooks error code H202 occurs when QuickBooks Desktop is trying to establish a connection to the company file, but can't communicate with the server due to one of the following reasons: Incorrect hosting configuration settings. The server computer firewall is blocking incoming and outgoing communication.
